Persimmon Smoothie with Oat Milk Whipped Cream surrounded by pumpkins

My beautiful niece was visiting me last year for the holidays, and I had just purchased a case of gorgeous persimmons. She had never eaten one, so we sliced one and ate it together. She exclaimed at how delicious it was. Succulent and sweet!

Persimmons, if you’ve never eaten one, have a bright orange interior and, when ripe, are creamy and sweet, like the combination of a mango and a peach. It’s hard to explain the taste of Persimmon until you try one, but suffice it to say they are AMAZING! You must race home and make this wonderful smoothie with this perfect winter fruit!
