Ingredients

  • Sweet Persimmons – 3 Ripe peeled persimmons
  • Ripe Banana for extra creaminess – 1 Banana
  • Almond Milk or your favorite milk. – 1 and 1/2 Cups Almond Milk
  • Ground Flaxseed – 2 Tablespoons Ground
  • Pure Maple Syrup – 2 Tablespoons
  • Ground Cinnamon – 1 Teaspoon
  • Ginger – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Pure Vanilla Extract – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oat Milk Whipped Cream for Topping
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in Blender. Pulse a few times.
  2. Blend Smoothie Ingredients until creamy.

Notes

  • Make sure to use slightly overripe persimmons for maximum sweetness.
  • Any plant-based milk will work in this recipe. You can also use dairy milk.
  • Fun toppings include Oat Milk Whipped Cream, Coconut Flakes, and Chocolate Nibs.
  • Store the extra Smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
