Seafood and salmon, in particular, are widely researched for their health benefits. While research has mainly focused on anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fat, salmon is also rich in vitamins and micronutrients. I love to include delicious and healthy recipes for my family. Just a few simple ingredients
Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Recipe
1. Season salmon filets with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2. In a small bowl, mix honey, coconut aminos (or Tamari), and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Set aside.
3. Heat one tablespoon of butter, one tablespoon of olive oil, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat, cooking until garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Place the salmon filets in the pan, flesh side down.
5. Cook for about 3 minutes, then carefully flip, skin side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes, spooning marinade over the fish until it is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
5. Once done, remove from the pan and place salmon on a serving platter, letting it rest a couple of minutes. Top with a tablespoon of the delicious marinade and chopped fresh parsley for garnish. Serve with your favorite side dish, and enjoy!
Tips
- You can spoon the remaining marinade over the salmon at the table with lemon wedges. (I always make extra marinade to serve at the table.)
- Removing Skin from Salmon – You can slide a sharp knife carefully under the skin to remove it if you prefer eating salmon without the skin.
- This glazed salmon recipe is also delicious with an inch of peeled, chopped ginger. You can add the chopped ginger when sauteing the garlic.
- Serve with your favorite green veggie and rice.
- Store leftover Salmon in an airtight container. Salmon is superb the next day, flaked over greens or a salad.
