How To Make Broccoli Crunch Salad- Step by Step

  1. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees F. Add bacon to a foil-lined pan and bake for 20 minutes (or until crisp). Once cooked, place on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up excess grease, then cut into tiny pieces.
  2. Meanwhile, cut broccoli florets into smaller bite-size pieces and dice the red onion.
  3. Add broccoli, red onion, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and bacon to a large mixing bowl.
  4. To make the dressing, add the honey, mayonnaise, and 2 Tablespoons of red wine vinegar to a small bowl and whisk to combine. The honey will dissolve, and the dressing should be smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste the dressing. For a more robust flavor, add the remaining 1 Tbsp of vinegar.
  6. Add the dressing to the broccoli mixture and mix to combine. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

  • If you prefer you can lightly steam the broccoli and rinse in an ice bath.
  • This broccoli salad tastes even better when you allow the salad to combine for a few hours in the refrigerator. The flavors come together!

  • You can make the Honey Mayonnaise Dressing ahead of time.
