Chicken Thighs with Honey Turmeric Garlic Marinade

EASY Flavor-rich marinated Honey Turmeric Chicken Thighs are great for baking or a barbecue!

 

Ingredients

  • 12 Skinless, Boneless Chicken Thighs
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Tablespoons Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Large Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Braggs Coconut Aminos (or Low Sodium Soy Sauce)
  • Optional Lemon to add brightness!

Instructions

  1. Make the Honey Turmeric Marinade: Whisk the Olive Oil, Coconut Aminos, Minced Garlic, Turmeric, Pepper, and Honey until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour Marinade over the Chicken: You can marinate the chicken in large ziplock bags or pour over the chicken in a large glass bowl which is how I did it. If marinating for over 20 minutes, please refrigerate the chicken.
  3. Bake the Chicken: Place marinated chicken in a 425-degree oven in the middle rack and cook for approximately 30 minutes until the thickest part of the chicken temps at 165. I turned the chicken halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. SERVE – Serve with roasted broccoli as above or any veggie side. I squeezed the lemon over the chicken before serving to add brightness! We also made homemade coleslaw.

Notes

*I always double the marinade recipe and hold some back to pour over the chicken and vegetables at the table!
