This delicious Teriyaki Salmon Bites recipe is so tasty and easy! The cubes of salmon are marinated in a flavorful sauce and seared so the outside of the salmon is caramelized and the inside is moist. This recipe is great for kids as they can pick the salmon bites up with their hands. Also, this salmon recipe is on the table in under 30 minutes, with only 4 minutes of active cooking time.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger or minced or grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (use gluten-free if on gf diet)
  • 1.5 pounds salmon

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon filets dry with a paper towel and cut them into large chunks.
  2. Combine the garlic, ginger, honey, and soy sauce in a large bowl or a Ziploc bag. Toss in the salmon chunks and coat them in the sauce.
  3. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon bites to the pan. Cook the salmon for about 2 minutes on each side until it reaches a safe internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
  4. Remove the salmon bites from the pan carefully and serve with your favorite rice and veggies!

Notes

  • Use a nice thick salmon filet for best results. Remove skin.
