This Simple and Delicious Fresh Blueberry Mojito Mocktail Recipe is perfect for entertaining, baby showers, or quenching your thirst on a warm summer evening!

Ingredients

Scale

1/4 Cup Fresh Blueberries

1 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice

2 Small Quartered Limes

2 Tablespoons of Simple Syrup or Agave Nectar

10-12 Fresh Mint Leaves

1 Cup Sparkling Water – We used Pellegrino

Instructions

  1. Muddle the fresh blueberries and mint leaves with a spoon or a muddler in a tall glass or jug. This will release the flavors and juices from the blueberries and mint.
  2. Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the glass. Stir well to combine the blueberries, mint, and lime juice. Add the simple syrup.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space for the sparkling water at the top.
  4. Pour the sparkling water into the glass slowly and carefully to avoid overflowing. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients.
  5. Garnish the mocktail with lime slices and mint sprigs for an extra touch of freshness and presentation.

Notes

You can also turn this mocktail into a Cocktail if you so desire. Replace the sparkling water with Vodka.

How To Muddle – Using a Muddler or the end of a long wooden spoon, crush or ‘muddle’ the limes and blueberries, releasing the juice and oils. Muddling the blueberries and mint is the best part; you can smell the mint as it’s crushed. If you have never muddled it’s gently crushing the fruit and herbs at the bottom of the glass.
