Sweet Strawberries, fresh limes, simple syrup, mint, ice, and sparkling water combine into a fun twist on a Mojito. This fresh Strawberry Mojito Mocktail will be in your regular drink rotation.

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 lime, juiced

2 tablespoons agave syrup or simple syrup

8-10 fresh mint leaves

1 cup sparkling water or soda water

Ice cubes

Lime or lemon slices to garnish

Instructions

1. In a blender, add the fresh strawberries and lime juice. Blend until smooth and well combined.

2. In a glass, muddle the mint leaves gently to release their flavors. You can use a muddler or the back of a spoon.

3. Add the agave or simple syrup to the glass and stir well to combine with the mint leaves.

4. Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top.

5. Pour the strawberry-lime mixture over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.

6. Top off the glass with sparkling or soda water, stirring gently to mix all the ingredients.

7. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a strawberry slice, if desired.

Notes

  • If you don’t have Simple Syrup on hand, take 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer until sugar is completely absorbed in the water, stirring often. Turn off the heat, cool completely, and store in an airtight container or glass jar with a tight lid.
