Pina Colada and Strawberry Puree in a tall glass with umbrellas

Our recent trip to Maui inspired this Delicious Strawberry Lava Flow Colada Mocktail Recipe. Steve and I were married on the beach there and love to return yearly. It truly is a tropical paradise. Pina Coladas generally served with white rum, Chi Chis, and Lava Flows, are very popular in all the Hawaiian bars. We always stay on Kaanapali Beach, the ultimate tropical beach vacation.

We were excited to make a Mocktail version of this frozen drink to enjoy with family and friends. Kids thrill from the fresh strawberry mixture rising through the glass when you pour ‘the molten lava’ into the Pina Colada.

Also, many people enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage, and mocktails are very popular. Many bars and restaurants now offer Mocktails on the menu. You will LOVE this recipe for whatever reason you want to try this tropical cocktail made into a Mocktail. You might also enjoy this sophisticated Coconut Martini Mocktail if you like tropical drinks.
